Mika Kallio, doesn’t quit. He rides hard, crashes, picks himself up and keeps on going.
We booked the only race track in Cape Town for this shoot. We bought a bike and had it wrapped to look like Mika’s superbike, we then hired a stunt team to make a rig that we could film a stunt double being dragged over the ground at speed. Then on the last take of the day, we crashed the bike at high speed and got the money shot. Not a shoot for the faint hearted!
